| Re: Pictures of my RAY rebuild, modification. Cool bag and T-piece design! Where'd the bags come from? They look kinda like MSRs, but aren't......

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Pictures of my RAY rebuild, modification. I use mainly RAY parts, DSV ADV P-ports and such come from the ray. The counternuts for the P-ports and a pair of exra breathinghoses had to be bought aswell as a part from the Dolphin dosage unit to replace the part with the small hole in it that is in the original RAY Doasge unit i now turned into only ADV. The parts are from Carl Wern and his Hunchback project. All other things i fixed myself and it really in not so much work. It just took me some evenings to make the lungs and finish them to the status they are in now. The counterlung breathingbags is MSR Dromelite 2 liter bags and i modified the lids to accept the P-Ports. Now i await some goodies from Germany like the Bottles and some other hardware. This weekend i oxygene serviced and cleaned the valves and the hoses and completely rebuilt 2 poseidon firststages and cleaned them to use with my rebreather. Actually i am building 2 of them at the same time. I will keep you all poseted when something new is added. I talked to the guy who is making my PO2 displays also and the housings fro them will be machined for me. It will use 2 independent PO2 meters and one VR3 divecomputer. For now it will be a completely manual operated unit as i dont want to mess with selenoids or needles or some flow in any way now. |
