| Re: Start for a new one is it pvc ? Hi, how do you manage to turn pvc so well, even using well grinded tools on my lathe a never manage to get this result i have to finish by using sand paper. congratulation nike work jean mi Yes this is PVC, as it's more than 22cm of diameter I have no source for POM. But it's not a problem to work PVC on the bench lathe, I will send You a photo of the tool I use. Important to use slow rotation velocity so the workpiece comes out perfect.(no sand paper.) Cheers Ossi |

| Re: The new Mini ORBreath ossi have a look it is ugly before sanding That's because the rotation velocity is much to high. The material get too hot and part of the material You cut away melds back to the workpiece with the effect You see on Your photo. Try reducing rotation velocity. Make the photo of the tool tomorrow and post it. Compliment for the rebreather Your working on, let me know when finished.Cheer Ossi |
