| Re: Bit of a splash I think everything is interesting whether it´s home-buildt or assembled. What matters is that someone have seen a way to make something so functional as a life support that they trust it with their life... ![]() It would be very interesting with some teardown pics ![]() I specially like the shell, I´d love to se a blueprint of that. Good luck /Daniel

| Andrew Martin Ward Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Bit of a splash Quote: It would be very interesting with some teardown pics When I next build up the unit (maybe this Sunday) I will take some pictures of the assembly. Quote: I specially like the shell, I´d love to see a blueprint of that. This was made by a member of this board as a one of batch (batch of ten I think), it is very good made of 316 stainless steel and fits to a standard backplate. It is also has a good internal size over the standard shell.Quote: Any more details on the unit or the reasoning behind it? It is based mostly on proven home build practise (if that is not an oxymoron) and asking those who know more. In some ways it is a proving ground to get the hang of Rebreather diving before moving into compact side mount units. The reason for the compact side mount RB is to give digging time in English and welsh caves as this is the only way forward. Also to make it easier to carry to the sump.![]() The picture is from Ogof Ffynnon and gives an idea of the passage to the sumps (you may have seen the picture before as it is in the new CDG manual) .Andrew
