| Born Again Diver! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: CEJN Fittings I think I got CEJN adaptors to go on the end of a reg hose from John Hewitt in Leeds at Red Hat diving, otherwise Divers Warehouse / Otter should be able to sell you the Apeks suit hoses (CEJN female) and possibly/probably, the nipples with a 3/8 thread. Apart form that, you coudl contact Apeks for the nipples, or I got some from ebay. - search CEJN or APEKS Robin Hood waterports in Huddersfied (?) also stock the Ocean Reef stuff, so could do you a CEJN nipple that screws right onto a 2nd stage. Hope it helps Dave

| Monty Guest Current Rebreather/s: | Re: CEJN Fittings Robin Hood Watersports Hi allTom Parker Ltd > Couplings - Quick Connect > Pneumatic - 220 Series regulators and accessories, service parts, hoses I don't really get the difference between the 221 Series and the 220 Series. The spec sheet says "Includes brass nipple (221) making this coupling suitable for water and fluids" - what do they mean? Obviously the flow capacity of 580 lpm for 6 bar air inlet pressure is more than adequate! rgds monty Last edited by montyg : 11th July 2008 at 14:17. Reason: 'cause I didn't read the spec sheet properly |

| Re: CEJN Fittings The 220 series, which are very easy to find, are made of steel... steel + water = not good 221 are brass and stainless

| Monty Guest Current Rebreather/s: | Re: CEJN Fittings The 220 series, which are very easy to find, are made of steel... Thanks for that, but as I read it the 220 spec sheet it seems to imply that the coupling body, locking sleeve, valve, springs and balls are all either brass or stainless or nickel plated/.steel + water = not good 221 are brass and stainless It seems to imply that only the 220 series hardened steel Zinc plated nipple needs to be changed for a brass one 221 series for water or fluid applications? Or have i got it completely wrong again? rgds monty |

| Re: CEJN Fittings Thanks guys for the links. ROHO have the Ocean Reef Quick Connection - Male Part for £20. The female parts should be easy to source. Portland Engineering do the 3/8ths screw in male nipple. Update: 220 series has an air flow rate of 26L/min as opposed to 221 series that has 580L/min.
