If you check the Dive Rite Express page listed above you'd see that even such a professional organization as Dive Rite lists the part as "flapper valve"

"Check valve" is a pretty generic term. If he asked me where to obtain check valves, I'd send him to McMaster-Carr, where he'd be faced with the choice among: ball check valves, diaphragm check valves, gravity check valves, piston check valves, poppet check valves, spring check valves or swing check valves, not to mention their classification by usage and material. If he asked me for mushrooms valves, I'd send him to Trident, Golem Gear, DiveRite, Interspiro, MSA, etc., knowing he's talking about the check valves used in the breathing loop.
