| Re: - Where to find mushroom or umbrella valves? umbrella valve "Check valve" is a pretty generic term. If he asked me where to obtain check valves, I'd send him to McMaster-Carr, where he'd be faced with the choice among: ball check valves, diaphragm check valves, gravity check valves, piston check valves, poppet check valves, spring check valves or swing check valves, not to mention their classification by usage and material. If he asked me for mushrooms valves, I'd send him to Trident, Golem Gear, DiveRite, Interspiro, MSA, etc., knowing he's talking about the check valves used in the breathing loop.mushroom valve Flapper valve All stupid amateur names They are 'check valves' Or at a push 'one way valves' .
