| Re: My Homebuilt Dive Light (Pimped Up) Can you send information on your piezo switch configuration? Which components and how do you intend on sealing them. The one I am using right now is only IP67 rated. I buy them at Conrad here in the Netherlands. But RS-Components sells them too. Just search for piezo switch. Here is a direct link to a switch. The switches only give a short pulse. That is why I use a puls relay to hold the signal.I have a harddisk magnet and a piece of motorcycle inner tube to hold it in the right place on the cannister and would like an upgrade. Teoman They are o-ring sealed on the chassis of the battery pack. My pack is designed to be submerged only 3 feet. Next version needs to go deeper. That should be possible, but I have to find the right Piezo switch. They exists. The Shearwater Pursuit computer has them too.

| Re: My Homebuilt Dive Light (Pimped Up) So... anyone know what the moisture is? Hi Teoman.Teoman I'v had some moisture in my canister not as much as a spoonfull but maybe half and that was condensation from the air. I'm not using the canister right now cause I got a METALSUB HID200 and my home made heatvest broke. But by winter I hope to have a new heatvest. Hope you sort out your water problem. Best Thorsten. |

I always wanted to put a cool picture in it but never got round to it. So i just cut the cover of the 2003 oceanic catalog. Marek said that that is a very good idea if i wanted to fly with it as it wont look like a home made BUMB . It is attached to the bailout. Top and bottom covers held in place with truck innertube. Untill i get other problems sorted out. Teoman Last edited by teomannaskali : 18th September 2008 at 21:46. |

| RBW Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: My Homebuilt Dive Light (Pimped Up) Now I have an 14.4 v NIMH battery pack. (actually got donated 200 D cells at 1.2V 7000mAh each) so i have had them packed in to quite a few battery packs. I will make a housing for it some time soon (hopefully) This time i intend on using a PVC box that is filled with polyesther. So no possible chance of a flood, plus it will be smaller. Now i am heading for a smaller flatter design that i can fit on to my belt or that takes up less space on the bailout. Filled up because i dont need venting holes. Teoman Oops forgot, you guys like pictures. Rather pointless pictures but anyhow... Last edited by teomannaskali : 21st November 2008 at 00:22. |
