Hi Teoman,

The canister is a part of a Luxfer 80 cf aluminium cylinder reject in hydrostatic test, cut in the middle and machined inside. It´s very strong !!! I will transmit your congratulations to Laszló Mocsari, the creator of the machine.

Some good points here, but IMHO any mCCR that relies on a single Oxygauge unit for ppO2 measurement is a Russian roulette.

Hi GKAM, this unit still in development and Laszó Mocsari will put the HS Explorer PpO2 meter with three cells in the lid of the equipment. I think the Drager one cell monitor will remain only for backup.

Congrats!

Condemned AL 80's make great canisters if you have the ability to machine them. They are close in size to some popular production rebreather canisters, and can take off-the-shelf scrubbers (like Golem's radial) after increasing the inside diameter of cylinder to 6.5".

Interesting mouthpiece arrangement. Just wondering, is that a compass or a gage attached to the mouthpiece?

Hi,

The DSV is a DRAGER without modifications, except a fiber bracket to put the Oxygauge like a HUD.
