home made dolphin style counter lungs

Hi,

I would like to make dolphin style counter lung .
what is the easiest way to make them ?
glueing pvc material with pvc glue?
hyfrequency soldering the pvc or other material ?
using latext material ?
neoprene ?
else material ?

If anyone did so could you tell me how did you proceed, if it has been reliable, and where to fing the components ?

use the right material (special grade high flexible polyurethane), make a welding tool, and have them welded HF

There is a trick on line with ironing a SMB with a cooker.

JLS did his CL with plastic glued.

At Marseille someone told me is able to make CL if you give him the plans

thanks for the link, I'd like to make the same but with a latex material, to avoid pvc glue emanations .

hello jean-mi, that is a copper bar bent in the form of the weld you want to make, then that is pressed on the 2 sheets you want to weld in the machine

what you have to do is look for a company that has a HF welding machine, and they usually make the tool for you

Hello Paul,

well just to make 2 or 3 pairs of lungs I am not going to make an hf welding, and will just glue some material,
I have just found rubber shits and will glue them with tire glue like in the old time of rebreathers ((((-:
if it works it is ok if no I will try an other system, I am just playing to clone all my dolphin parts just for fun
