I promise (at some point) to update my design notes for the D5 as well...I took some photos last year of the final layout and haven't uploaded them yet. ![]() | Re: Sidemount Rebreather (BOB in the works) Nice trick on the counter lung welding. I use MSR bags which I have sealed with an iron and I'm not quite happy with the result. It could be my iron but I get a feeling that it doesn't get hot enough. So I have been thinking of making two long metal rods with some built on heating system, probably thin wires just for simplicity, to heat it up. But your system could work too as you heat it from both sides and it's much easier than my idea. |
