The forum will attract interest, rather than just seeing what happens in the normal forum. Machine Shop operations are a huge part of homebuilding, and in the end becomes a hobby in itself. This is an important subject for us. ........ The interest is there, even if it seems latent. My thoughts as well. I have to believe there are far more creative folks out there than currently speak up about their workshop treasures. Many more just need to be shown the basics and given an encouraging push to go out and learn. Once freed from the constraints of blister packs and bar-coded bits, that creativity will give way to some amazing original thought-made-reality. Dave . I’ll say it again: South Bends ROCK! Ken

At least that'd be a source for me as to whom I can ask to make stuff for me, once it's become a hobby I second Philippe's motion of making a consolidated of hobby machinists for us to beg the services of Well I can always ask, can't I?Best Philippe ![]() |

![]() | Re: a new sub forum for home builder on Rebreather World ? Great idea!!! Last time I visited my local delrin dealer they asked me what to build. I thought "a PPO2 meter" was a little bit nerdy so I just said to them "diving equipment". Guess if I was surprised to hear that their every fifteenth customer was making diving gizmos... /Daniel
