cable for PPO2 meter

Hi everyone

I´m working on a PPO2 meter for my dolphin, the housing and electronics is nearly finished (Thank´s for all help I´ve recived so far). I will probably order a P-port from Tecme for the sensor.
My question to you, experienced homebuilders, is what cable can I use? It´s a lot of hokus pokus around these cables. I will not take it deeper than 40m...

..and Yes, I will present the result here, but not until it´s working and finished.

I believe most are using "continuous flex" cable which designed to be used on industrial robots that are around a lot of dust and oil and such. I'm going to use some 5 conductor olflex cable I found on eBay - but I haven't got it wet yet so take it for what it's worth.

One proven option is Jurgensen marine (hammer head) - they will sell their fully gas blocked cable by the foot - not sure what is will cost to get to Sweden.

The other is ambient pressure - run the wires down a length of reg hose between two barbed fittings.

Hi Fulefejs,

I have designed some ppo2 displays and displays with hud for friends and me. We are using cable from Lapp Kabel, Germany. Specialy the typ Ölflex classic is exellent for using with PUR material. Problem could be that you need more than 4 wires in the cable but 4 x0,5 is not bigger than 6mm diameter, just suitable for fischer plugs.

If you like check the pictures in the gallerie of my ppo2 display, the connection to the HUD is made by lapp kabel 4x0,5 square millimeter.

I have used this cable, for my po2 displays, from ELFA -- Elektronikdistributör i norra Europa Högflexibel mångledare, PUR. number 55-764-42.
