![]() | Finishing my CCR Hi list, I'm about to finish my second CCR (first was a pvc crap O2 CCR) Based on KISS style and lung box ![]() Head is on the lathe but because I have two options for sticking the ADV on the CCR : head or inspi lung I'll use a Ray ADV, and haven't got yet the Pport female part, I'm looking for one to buy, and I need the mesurement for the thread to drill in case I leave it in the head of the CCR, please in metric will be far easier for me ![]() What is the thread on this ADV too? None of my hose can go on it... Oxy line is made of plastic Legris tubing, with quick coupling system that I'll use on the first tries.I use MJV 2 clippard button and a Legris manifold to tune oxy flow. Lungs are MSR 4l, OPV is an Apeks old style, and canister is PVC pression resistant instead of PE in the first thinking. Oxy will be checked by a 3 cells display in a tube. Hope that you'll like this ![]() |

Something like that would look nice on number 159. Hope all is well with you. Need to get your way and make some more dives!! Cheers!! Kevin |

![]() | Re: Finishing my CCR Thanks all for your "encouragements" (don't remember in english)! The case is a KISS one made of Stainless steel, but I don't work it my self. It's made from a plan someone give me on the net. A french chaudronnier (who works metal) made it for me on numeric folder and laser cutter. it's really a good piece.Soldering line are very hard to see on the sides. A think I don't understand with the real KISS from Jetsam is the DSV hoses connector, is it something used to clamp to hose on swimming pool tube? In France we use a gimmik called "union trois pieces" it a ring with a thread and to other pieces, one got an Oring on a side. I found Ossie scrubber style very interesting, I'll try to use one like that on my breather, but before a simple tube and pice of drilled SS will do the job for starting. Kevin, I hope to see you soon I did Pomeyssen to S1 and see S2 sump in it with DR JM, it was an awesome dive! We drowned the power of the two SS scooters we used ![]() Last edited by Tautaz : 9th February 2008 at 11:20. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Finishing my CCR thanks for the advertissement Here's a thread about the springs in Clippard valves:![]() i knew the problem but didn't knew how to fix it. The ADV will be from a Clippard so your tip is important cheers. David http://www.rebreatherworld.com/home-...e-springs.html It's a cheap and easy fix if you can buy from McMaster; I hope you can find a similar source in Europe.
