OPV Settings

Having just installed a drysuit type OPV valve in my coverted SCR, what setting do people find they run these at? The valve is a standard Apeks high profile dump valve. Do people set them to breathe easy or do people prefer some back pressure to prevent wasted gas?. One thing to note is the unit has back mount counterlungs (converted azi) so too much back pressure will rapidly increase the work of breathing on ascent

Matt, I am also running a converted AZI. Why on earth did you not retain the original opv ? If you look at it closely it is a work of art and much better than the Apeks one. Also the original valve can be set precisely with the supplied pressure gauge.
