![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | removing p-connector from old lungs Hey all, trying to remove some p-connectors from an old set of Dolphin lungs. They 'look' like they just unscrew into two parts, which should be easy enough. Mine are stuck, and before I break anything, wanted to make sure there are no tricks. probably just alot of old salt and other crap in there

![]() ![]() | Re: removing p-connector from old lungs yup, the standard p-connector is two parts, the "connector" which sits on the outside and a locking ring on the inside. |

Draeger has some sort of fixture to thread them on that torques them so tight that you cannot believe it. I cut a slit in the fabric a few inches away, and rip the fabric by hand along the line of the weave, right up to and then into the flange of the P-Connector. The fabric can then be pulled out of the fitting flange, and the P-connector will then unthread with ease. Back in the old days the easy way to get (3) P-Connectors was to buy a new lung and remove the connectors. It was cheaper than buying 3 individual connectors. Dave .
