| Holiday diver Current Rebreather/s: | And I was thinking of putting the ADV in the exhale bag where the OPV is at present. And prob put the OPV in the inhale bag, where the ADV currently is. Does this make any sense? Or is the OPV gonna give probs in the inhale bag?

| John Routley ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | HI Denzel this config works very well i have been diving my unit like this for a few years, what i discoverd is putting the opv in the inhale lung where the adv is means it can be pressed open some times when the lungs inflat, i think the best postion is the other side of the inhale lung so it sits inbetween the scrubber ports, here its out the way its also facing the right way up and does not get pressed by accedent. i made a speical blocking washer for my opv so it operates as normal but with out the push override, i think i have one left if you need it, the cell holders will be a few weeks as im waiting for materials to arrive but then it's a go! i think the price will be around £70-£80 for the cell holder but i have no idea yet what the cell protector will work out at until i've made a few as it's a piece of art! pitty its inside the lung because it's worth showing off!! if every one who's intrested in the cell holder can email me i'll put a list together so i have some idea how many i might need to do. kindest regards john routley Quote: (Originally Posted by denzel) And I was thinking of putting the ADV in the exhale bag where the OPV is at present. | Holiday diver Current Rebreather/s: | Sounds great! PM send with order. For that money I don't want to hack and drill away at my scrubber, and worry about getting the whole thing water/ air tight again. As easy as adding another p-port which happens to come out of my yellow atlantis flow rate test bubble bag, life's sweet! Now counting the days till my new toy comes...... denz.

| John Routley ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | hi denz order excepted! i'll let you know when i have the material in should be a coulpe of weekes, the cell protecter is a shroud the screws on to the back of the p-port it's coverd in holes to let the gas flow over the cells and it stops the cells from being touched by the lungs, you can wrap a membrain around it to stop moister all together kind regards john routley

| John Routley ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | some of you asked about the cell protector that i make to go with the DD3 cell holder so i've done some pictures for you. it screws on to the back of a standard p=port in the inside the lung and stops the bag touching the cells. kind regards john routley
