| Re: mCCR Plumbing plan It looks like you are running the hoses for the LPI and ADV out to the MAV and back. I'd say you could drop a bunch of fittings from your list if you use the DIL reg to run your LPI and ADV hoses. I don't have a dolphin but if the ADV fitting is an odd draeger one you could splice a hose with a male to male fitting and get the lp fitting. |

I'm sure Dave will chime in if I'm wrong =) I'm actually considering a change though... getting a clippard valve and taking measurements off it, and using that to make a 316 ss valve / manifold assembly... In theory it shouldn't be too too hard..... -Scott |

| Re: mCCR Plumbing plan I wouldn't bet there is a lot of difference in the fittings the 3/8UNF o-ring is pretty proven IMHO doesn't matter really. My concern is where are you going to put the MAV for the DIL? If its in your hand or on your harness then you are running one hose from the reg to it and then one each back to the counterlung, LPI and ADV?(1 out 3 back) If that's true then that's a bunch of hoses versus one out one back for the MAV and keeping the rest inside (or close) to the shell. Just trying to understand the routing - more of a streamlining concern then a fitting issue. |

I am intending to have my diluent in a sidemount tank.. and possibly my O2.. It would be one nasty mess of hoses if I ran 3 different lp hoses from a sidemount tank over to the rebreather.. .... Would be next to impossible for me to ditch the side tank to get on a boat, or if i had an emergency on the surface..... With the single QD, i pop it loose, unclip or cut the one cave line binding on the tail end of the cylinder, and let it go .. the SPG's Oring binding will snap on its own.. -Scott |

I that case yeah - I can see a 1/8NPT manifold on your left chest d ring and a QD to a single whip off the sling tank should keep everything organized. If it hasn't been mentioned already make sure the fittings for breathing gas are high flow enough for SCR operation. It would be one nasty mess of hoses if I ran 3 different lp hoses from a sidemount tank over to the rebreather.. ....
