I'm after some delrin rod

Ideally about 65mm in diameter and about 100m long anyone know where I can get some from?
I don't want to pay too much for it so somewhere close to me in the UK prefferable.

or anyother plastic that I can prototype in

You will be able to get the Delrin at a sensible price from them.

hi beanie ask dive god doug! he once helped me out with some i think he had in his garage, or you can get bits on ebay under delrin!

We buy some of ours from Kenson Industrial Plastics Ltd, Arvan House, Brookfield Drive, Cannock, Staffordshire. WS11 3JN. Tel: 01543 500640 and fax 01543 500641. They will cut blocks into whatever size you need, and stock a nice range.

Another supplier is a place called RUBBERFAST, they are based in Fenton, Stoke on Trent. They have a vast range, will cut off what you need and let you have a rummage about if you are not sure what you want 'till you see it.

hi beanie,
theres a plastic engineering place on the a46 on the way to nailsworth next door to maynards machinery,thay stock delrin & often have off cuts 4 sale try them,
