DSV -- ball valve and some flappers

Howdy all --

So I am all but done with my homebrew unit but am missing a two critical parts. Without busting the bank, does anyone know where can I get 2 new flapper valves for my DSV?

Try looking at snorkels I don't remember the brand but I found some about 1" diameter in carriers laying aroud the house.

As spares for any industrial dust-mask at any good hardware store.

Re: DSV -- ball valve and some flappers

You might want to check with Vintage scuba for flappers, hoses and cages.
link- Two Hose Regulator Hoses, Clamps, Mouthpieces, Duckbills and

If you want a commercial DSV- a lot of groups sell them.
Otherwise a lot of people use modified plumbing ball valves.

Good luck, Andrew

Re: DSV -- ball valve and some flappers

Was able to use these valves for my homebuilt (ball valve) DSV. Needed to adjust the diameter with a lathe but they work great.

Love to see pictures of yours when it is finished.
