Could you share your source? Thanks. AlMir. Hallo all, this is also my opinion. Here is a small compressed vid with my pendulum as MCCR dive in Spain. Picasa-Webalben - mike - Costa Brava. At present i build a hard cover, so that the parts are better fastened and to make the unit more streamlined. The unit has than two options, pendulum hose and double hose. @dandunfee very good idea and work, i think i make this also, but the time.... Micha |

Here is a picture: profimaus.de - Lötkugelhahn 18 mm · Turbulatoren · Spar Turbulator · Strahlregler · Luftsprudler · Spar-Strahlregler · Badheizkörper · Urinal-Befestigung · WC-Befestigung · WC Papierhalter · profimaus.de · Lötkugelhahn 18 mm , but my toggle is smaller. Search in your next plumber shop. The valve is from chromium-plated brass and really waterproof. Micha |

But because they are made of metal (brass) do you feel they are a little " heavy " on weight?? What is your experience with them? By the way, I am enclosing a photo of what I am presently using. I'm still waiting for a couple of minor parts, then looking forward to getting the RGU-2 Oxygen Module into the water for first manned trials. Also beginning to be enthusiastic , looking forward to integrating the RGU-2 Module into the much more capable D105 mixed-gas and chassis sub-systems. I really liked your clean and innovative, minimalist approach to your little rig, especially the O2 injection up near the DSV. I assume that the scruber is axial. What is the scrubber charge weight ??....and duration you've gotten so far.?? I also liked AlMirs' DSV. Would you please share the source ??

| Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Dan, terrific job with the RGU-2. The simplicity of it is beautiful.I really like the way you placed the scrubber inside the breathing bag, great improvements to all aspects of the unit. I'm looking forward to more updates. ![]() Just one quesstion for now, either Dan or Ken: "the original RGU, …including its very innovative... but quirky,.. Integrated pressure and constant mass flow (CMF) regulator" Of all the individual components of the RGU, that seems to be the keeper. Just how "quirky" is it and how is it "quirky"? Osiris, there's a Hans Hass Video Collection available from Polarfilm. ![]() Also a double DVD (link at bottom of page above) with 4 old movies: „Pirsch unter Wasser“ von 1942 (Deutsch) „Menschen unter Haien“ von 1947 (Deutsch) „Abenteuer im Roten Meer“ von 1951 (Deutsch + Englisch) „Unternehmen Xarifa“ von 1954 (Deutsch + Englisch) http://www.polarfilm.de/php/movies/1..._Hans_Hass.wmv ![]()

What is the scrubber charge weight ??....and duration you've gotten so far.?? I also liked AlMirs' DSV. Would you please share the source ?? The small green scrubber is from a Fenzy 66H. I have described it in other threads here on Rebreather World before. Its axial, I removed some insulating foam placed against the wall from the inside. I did this to increase sorb capacity and to reduce the risk of bypassing in the possible thin foam/wall gap. The modified scrubber holds around 0.8 kg, give or take some depending on what type of sorb you use. If I recall correctly (don't have my notes here) the longest I have use a load was for about 100 minutes farting around in the shallows, max 7-8m over three dives with _low_ average excertion. And in warm water (~20-23 Celsius). But I did notice that only a few minutes into a fresh fill the scrubber got overloaded in a few minutes time when I did some speed tests finning at max speed. Had to go semi closed and rest for a minute to recover the loop. Feeling by hand during this test the hot front of the scrubber still remained only on the inlet side. So it seems there was some narrow spiking break through since I could not feel the hot front moving.
