The SOURIC is an homemade rebreather (Kiss style) made with heavy duty PVC pipe and fully protected in a SS case for cave diving purposes.

Nice setup.

I have a doubt about the WOB: the scrubber lloks the thinnest and longest I have ever seen.

What is the volume of the breathing bags?

same idea.

I also like the idea to have the scrubber between the counterlungs.

The scrubber is 90 mm diameter by 450 mm lengh and holds approx 2.6 Kgs of Spherasorb

Wob is excellent despite the diameter

Counterlungs volume is approx 6 liters

At least two units ( Richard's one and yours ) so you are a manufacturer now

Is Christian D using the same scrubber for his Rebreather?

Marc,

the SOURIC canister is a new design very different from previous ones.

We are currently doing extensive tests on it with Christophe Richard who built it.

The goal was to make a strong and cheap canister with low WOB using on the shelf parts. (less than 100 €) It seems to work well .....until now...

Counterlungs are made with soldered industrial and "bullet proof" polyethylen film (same as used in swimming pools)

I am currently working on a "over the shoulder" CCR reab using this canister

I hope to be able to show you something in Sept or Oct in Font Estramar
