| Homebuilt on the Andrea Doria On behalf of EXPLORER and the Little Diveshop of Horrors: The highly prized "Diver Dave Seal of Approval" is hereby awarded to Holger Berghauser (TR300) for constructing his excellent rebreather and then bringing it here from Germany and then diving it flawlessly on the U-853, USS Bass, and the Andrea Doria without so much as a lost moment. (3) Dives on the U-853 (2) Dives on the USS BASS (3) Dives on the Andrea Doria. Done with ZERO issues of any sort. Diver and Rebreather were in perfect tune. Wonderful! The best part is that he's left the TR-300 on EXPLORER so it's cached here in the USA for his future trips aboard. Well done Holger!!! I'd also point out modestly that EXPLORER is likely the only boat in the world that not only allows, but encourages, homebuilders aboard. Only by experimentation do we learn. Dave

Yes, I'am also happy that the TR300sc works as designed and gave me save and comfort dives to all the wrecks we dive. It was a realy great time to stay with you. The next year Trip with the EXPLORER is allready noticed in my holiday shedule. As I'am came back my Drillmechanics has finished all the parts for some more TR300sc to build up Holger

| Re: Homebuilt on the Andrea Doria We'll have a great trip next year. I'm already planning it too. Research the Republic, Norness, and Coimbra as well as the Andrea Doria. I should probably not place your rig in the "homebuilt" category either, as you have made them in limited series production. Maybe "low volume custom manufactured" rebreather is more accurate. In any event, it is always welcome here. Dave

| Holger Berghäuser Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Homebuilt on the Andrea Doria Hi Dave, perfect run for the next year trip. Hopefully we have all the time good conditions. The TR300sc I run at this trip was the first out of a serie of tree I have made and goes now in production for friends and well known divers. The rig will not sold to everyone (has no for the EU neccessary certification and so I can't sell them to anybody). My goal is to have five rigs ready this year. Some little changes are in my mind, because of Dräger parts I use in the next time difficult to get Holger

| Re: Homebuilt on the Andrea Doria I too was impressed by your rig Holger. Very compact, well built, and it seems to keep you alive which is always a good thing. Andre |
