David
Hi David,

Yes, you can run a rEvodream with one sensor.

Cheers,

Phil

Yes, true. There's more than one way to skin this cat.

Also, there are a selection of precision orifices than can substitute for the gauge snubber I sent. They are available in a multiple of diameters and are physically interchangable.

Dave

Your care package has arrived. I will plumb it into my chest mount and try it out asap. I'll need to order the appropriate bits to integrate it with my feed as I don't want to canabalise my exisitng feeds.

All

Does anyone have a gizmo to fix the IP of a Poseidon Cyclon 300 as I really don't want to have to buy a DS4 and plug to run Dave's rig with (unless I have to).

Duncan, how deep are you sumping? You might not need to block it.

I, along with others on the forum are generally very willing to assist our european friends with McMaster orders. I order bits and peices regularly, and would be happy to help. PM if you need anything

No more than 30 m for initial tests. The unit I am going to trial it on is unproven any deeper and there aren't many sites here to test it deeper until I get to France at the end of June.

I'm going to fit a 15 µm filter upstream of the orifice to keep crap out.

Understood. I'd just run a low IP, add more often shallow, and not worry about the blocked first stage (for now). Set it for 0.5 LPM at surface and see how it works at 30M.

If that gauge snubber does not set up correctly, let me know and I'll source a better orifice. Suspect it'll be fine though. Filter is not a bad idea.

OK - well I need a couple more MJV-2's and two PC-2Y's from Clippard*. Their UK distributor is slow and expensive. Dave Sutton's express delivery service was excellent.

Can remunerate by PayPal or in kind with an excellent new book on the history of UK cave diving ;-).

Pity I can't mail O2, helium or sorb from our chemical store....

* clippard.com only ships to the Our Former Colonies.

Re: Duncan's New Add System

Cool Dave, Parts on order. The only thing I changes is (sacrificing old BC hose) is having a QD on the return from the valve to the brass T fitting so I dont have to cut a hose to change or clean the snubber. These part numbers have been put into my homebuilders file.
