| CEJN Sources Has anybody found a source for the CEJN hose barb nipples and connectors in smaller quantity. Of the dozens of suppliers listed in the US a) only one has online sales b) they only have the 320 series which use steel nipples and c) they only sell bags of ten. I know I could e-mail all the possibles but I'm hoping someone has already done the leg work. Thanks, Brad |

I think these are the CEJN connection. (221 Series I think) I have ordered a couple from John Hewitt of Red Hat diving . regulators and accessories, service parts, hoses Take paypal, and rsonds quickly to questions. And I found male nipples with 3/8 thread from various ebay stores. I haven't found an easy way to get a male with a 9/16th to go onto my 2nd stage yet though. Hope this helps Dave |

| Re: CEJN Sources As much as I hate to patronize the evil competitor of all LDS's, LeisurePro is the only one who has delivered most of the CEJN parts I have needed. NE Scuba Supply supposedly has a CEJN male nipple to 1/4 NPT female connector, but I have yet to receive it, more than a week after ordering. So I have had to convert my off-board inlet on my Mk 15.5 using two additional adapters. LeisurePro SKU # OEDQCM converts the standard regulator second stage LP hose to a female CEJN receptor, and AQUHA138 is the nipple that goes on the second stage itself. Less than $40.00, assuming you've got extra 2nd stage hoses lying around like I do. ![]() ![]()

They are available at tech blue or golem gear. But I'm cant find the parts I need for bc and drysuit. For BC, I think its nipple to 1/2 male? Anyone know what I'd need for DS?

| Re: CEJN Sources For BC, I think its nipple to 1/2 male? The nipple that goes into a BC inflater has a 3/8" male O-ring, the same male connection as on the end of a regulator hose. You can actually screw in a regulator hose, if you wanted to.I do not know if anyone makes CEJN nipples with 3/8" male connectors. If you find one, let me know. Until then, I am using a swivel or Y so that I can have both.

| Re: CEJN Sources The otherway around or did you write wrong on the picture? Nothing wrong. The photos are correct and the fittings are in the same orientation in both the top and bottom photos. The bottom photo shows the BOV with the fittings screwed on and connected. Connect the second stage hose to this assembly and it is complete.

The nipple that threads into a drysuit valve (Poseidon, Viking), is a 3/8-24 thread. Actually, it's likely 1/8 BSSP but it's close enough. Dave

| Re: CEJN Sources Sounds like time for lots of phone calls or maybe some "sincere flattery" of the cejn part with a mini-lathe. The only other options seem to be several adapters lined up or using a gas block. The gas block wouldn't be so bad really. It could have a standard inflator tucked onto it to allow gas theft from non CEJN hoses in a pinch. Wouldn't need a check valve if you wanted to trust your gas supply to a shraeder valve Not enough flow to breathe off deep in OC mode but easy enough to plug someone elses bail out bottle into the rig for emergency gas supply till the day that everybody gets in line on the CEJN as a standard. |
