| Re: Design and building an inexpensive Heads UP or Down Display I think the electronics and code have come together nicely. I have just got all the components to build a couple of prototypes for testing various configurations of both the electronics and the software. The next big test will be how to mount it in a water proof manner. My interest is to add a wrist based readout and HUD to the Inspo Classic without compromising the current systems. With this in mind I m helping out by doing code reviews and building a software test harness to asist Giovanni. |

| Re: Design and building an inexpensive Heads UP or Down Display Hi Guys i make some photos of green normal LCD and blue reverse LCD(with backlight on) Giovanni PS. dive*ski is making a great great job of correction/optimization of code ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Corallaro : 9th July 2007 at 12:06. |

Am I understanding that using this display removed your voltage drop problem? Forgive my lurking, but I am not as smart as you guys with regard to this design stuff. It has been alot of fun watching and learning!! |

| Re: Design and building an inexpensive Heads UP or Down Display Hi with the last scheme the voltage drop problem seem solved... but i prefer the classic normal green LCD... less beautiful but more readable in more conditions... and blue need always backlight on with consumption of a lot current Giovanni |

| Re: Design and building an inexpensive Heads UP or Down Display Hi Guys i upload the 0.64d version of code (with dive*ski we are working around the 0.65 version) a logical error removed, an irregular out from subroutine a little optimization of code, is less readable but a bit more efficient in the archive are two files the "charged version" only for charging it on harware the "only for simulation version" to use only for simulation, some code in this version is removed and is'nt used on hardware (but if you use a serial LCD) i'm working around the case, some suggestion how to make two magnetic buttons like hammeread? | Re: Design and building an inexpensive Heads UP or Down Display hi Stephane.. nice to read you ![]() august is my holiday mounth and in this time i make by myself the case, it was an hard and long work i don't make underwater test because in Sciacca i don't foud the right cables the cables on photo are normal electronics cable wit a very little plastic isulation for hud a need a cable with four wires and for electronic to sensors at least 3 wires but i prefer 4 wires to recharge the battery.. instead i finish to optimize my IDA-71 ant it now works perfectly ![]() (i also add the springs into clippard valves )monday i return at work in Palermo and i think to finish alland your news?... | Re: Design and building an inexpensive Heads UP or Down Display Hi Guys I totally rewrote the program with mikrobasic 6 now i don't use a picaxe but a normal pic 16f88 instead of the old picaxe code now i use a 10bit adc and more precise mathematics the gain of ad822 now work perfectly more detailed info later... i up new electric scheme and mikrobasic files with compiled .hex Giovanni Last edited by Corallaro : 9th October 2008 at 18:43. |
