| Re: Who dives which model of Russian rebreather? green adds to your reputation. under your post count there is alittle meter thingy. the more folks that add green the higher your reputation is. the more that add red.. i assume the lower your reputation. thats my limited understanding of it. hope this makes sense.. all nighter drinking Steel Reserve and its time for this boy to go to bed. There's a button on the bottom of each post where one can 'approve' or 'disapprove' of the post in question. Approval adds to your reputation, 'disapproval' subtracts. There's also a field for comment which helps, especially when some disapproves. You can check the comments and points in your 'User CP'. When you get less than 0 the blobs turn red. Positive ones, now blue, used to be green, hence the "Have some green" moniker. Just means you made someone happy with your post and he added to your reputation.

Another guy here in Ottawa just joined RBW his nick is Tom Hlavac he has an IDA 64 and dz3866 sold his half conversion in this thread http://www.rebreatherworld.com/rebre...-ida-64-a.html As for conversion I think it would be a good candidate for conversion depending on what you want out of it. |

| Ida-76 uses... I've spoke a bit with Giovanni about his nicely done 76 but to date he hasn't gone too deep with his. I wanted to hear from anyone who may have taken their 76 to max rec diving limits (about 130 feet). How's the WOB? Would replacing the hoses with larger diameter bits make the WOB reasonable? How well did the scrubber work? Dave Sutton has related that while diving his 71 he has experienced a Co2 hit leading him to advise running 2 scrubbers and the 76 runs a relatively small scrubber. I'm all for over-engineering and would love to pop for a C-96 but if the 76 comes close I'm willing to deal with a little less bang =) My wife dives OC as do most of my friends so I'm mostly looking for a small no nonsense rig rather than an expedition style super duration rig. Anyone? Rob |
