They look nice, eh?

Actually, they're cardboard to protect the unit from damage.

UPS (seemingly) likes to toss packages out the back of airplanes, while flying over craggy mountain ranges...

We'd switch to FedEx except they wanted my first and second born as payment for Freight, and I've grown rather fond of the little buggers these last eight years...

Here they are.....

This is my 8 year old, Billy. He's generally the life of the party, making jokes, funny faces, etc. He's also becoming quite a good swimmer. I'm going to teach him how to scuba this next month.

This is Benji. Benji is 7, but is bigger than his older brother. Benji is just learning how to swim, which is remarkable, because he has Autism and does not talk (well, hardly at all - he has to learn how to do that, too). Nonetheless, he's an amazing little boy, and the joy of our family. He loves water just as much as Billy, but I'm going to wait a bit on the Scuba training for him...

This is one of my favorite shots of the two of them together on the beach off Corolla, N.C. where we vacation every year. One thing about having 2 children, one with Autism, is that they rarely fight (unless it's over the Computer), and get along fantastically well. Billy is so protective of Benji, it's great to see how he looks after him.

And here's my wife, Julie, and yours-truly. Why she puts up with me, I'll never know. John Sherwood of Carleton put it best when he said to me "Kevin, it's clear you married above your Station...".

That's the family.

I'll see if we can get a shot of Trish and Cheera together next week with the rest of the crew around here...

Yeah, they do whether we like it or not...

But Billy and I are having a blast here on the OBX riding the waves. He's like a fish now - (seems like) just a short time ago, we were worried if he got over his knees in the ocean - now he swims better than his old man...

Benji has also become braver - he can't swim yet, but goes into the ocean face-first, and even when he gets knocked down and dunked by a wave, gets up, coughs, and goes right back in...

I'll give you a call when we get back from vacation.

We miss you too - gotta come to PA soon, meet some of the new crew.
