Agreed, But still think that boris still shines above all other units as far a system design goes.
So do I, but it does come at a price. Both literally and figuratively.
Awesome, no doubt, but expensive, large, heavy, and lots and lots of buttons and menus.

But it's the state of the art, as far as electronics go with the Sentinel. Am looking forward to the little Poseidon C-L MK6, it may raise the bar in some aspects.

Please explain what you think is silly about it...
Plugging three holes between inhalation and exhalation side with O2 cells that have been known to come apart.

Good to here so does that mean its a vote for the Apecs over the hammerhead then?
To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of either.
Call me backwards, but I like the simplicity of SMI's electronics. All they're missing is a reliable, sturdy, digital pO2 monitor option.

The Laguna Research electronics also look good, at least on paper. I like the idea of having a port that allows an O2-integrated deco computer to be added, without having it as part of the actual setpoint controller. Also gives you choice of deco computers and algorithms. Lots of configuration options, yet simple basics. Batteries and solenoid outside the loop where they belong. Work with a broad range of cells, neat for someone using several different units.

Other than my good pal mike who else has had the cells fall apart, I think he was just looking to pick a fault and start a big thread about it,

Just take the scrubber o-ring in the inspiration as an example thiers more chance of trapping forgetting or damaging that that would cause the same end result than a cell falling apart.

Anyway enjoyed the spirit of the replies, Im out of this one as Im crook and should be resing my self with lots of papering, fine wines and movies,

Cheers

Agreed - and if you read the archives you see Ive ranted on about that design weakness in the classic as much as I have the Meg cell position - and for the same reason.

Hope your feeling better - looking forward to getting wet with yah

Deepdiver is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: New Hh Or Meg?

Mark,

I used to dive with the chap you bought the Inspo with the two Hammerheads off.....

He tried to fix the problem by re-drilling and larger screws.

I know, I have no idea why Kevin and Joe keep trying to pin it on me. I imediatly sent it to Kevin to have than hand sets replaced and I never dived it in that state.

So.... Let's check the facts here....

1) We have confirmed that "someone" did take a drill to the wrist units.... Potentally this was done by a third party as suggested by "Deepdiver"...

2) This also reconfirms that you did send Kevin J a set of wrist units that had special field developed modifications from an over active drill bit...

We love you Mark.... This is what happens when there have been to many blowouts due to weather and you become the

Dive Safe....

I have never mentioned the drilling as far as I can remember... I leave that up to Kevin..

The only hole I would have recommended in the past to drill out slightly was the wet sensor hole in the bezel..
