How old are you? - CCR owners only

I am posing this question because it appears that CCR divers are getting younger.. A few years ago the average CCR diver was approcahing 40 (probably due to the financial situations)..

I would like to see if there has truely been a shift..

I am not sure if that's true. Of all of the pictures I have seen lately, CCR divers seem to be a bunch of really old and out of shape people...

Perhaps a better poll would be...

"How old were you when you started to dive Rebreather ?"

since a few people are diving Rebreather for a long while and could skew your curve...

Hi,

Was 29 two weeks ago... but had been lusting (yes thats the only suitable word) after a Rebreather for about 5years and it was finances that prevented me from getting one sooner- but I think everyone is in that boat, its never "cheap" whatever age you are or wealth you have.

"Diving is Expensive- Live with it" a good friend of mine once said, I guess we could change that to read- "Rebreathers are bl**dy Expensive- Live with it and don't ever try and Justify them..."

When I joined this group I had a look at the profile of a few regular users on that day and was surprised to see a couple of people younger than myself, I too had always assumed rebreathers generally belonged to 35+ age group, (probably also single and/or childless blokes but lets not get into stereotypes or a full demographic
