| Works for me too! and I 'the gooseberry' also managed to get substantial amounts of weight off - about 7kg (!!), which means I was on a much more managable 9kg in the freshwater, with scope to take off at least one more. I couldnt believe it! Diving in 5m though, it was all a bit of a bouyancy control challenge. Wraysbury was a lot too green and too silty to be able to tell if you were going up or down from a visual reference. A day well spent though...

It was getting to be a nightmare trying to lift the unit etc, I'm only little and the unit plus an extra 13kg was not pleasant... ![]() So all in all from the start of the course I've shifted 17kg altogether... started with 20kg ![]() So many thanks to Stuart ![]()

| Re: Guide to getting your weighting correct for a Rebreather. Hi. I'm diving my inspiration with 2x 1,5liter alu cylinders.Take only 2kg more than with the 2x 3liter steel. This is with a 3mm full wetsuit. In the top I've 3kg. Beginning december my evolution will arrive. Hope to drop the 2kg on my weightbelt. Will see how it works with the 2x 2liter steel. Cheers Andre Maldives |

Don't hold your breath. I found that I need more weight with the Evolution scrubber than with the Classic Inspiration scrubber. Both with 3L steel. Don't ask me why...

| Re: Guide to getting your weighting correct for a Rebreather. Mike, are your lightweight Fabers 7 litres? What weight do they have stamped on them? I'm quite keen on something a little smaller than aluminium, just want to know how light lightweight actually is! |
