![]() | Bottle O2 cleaning West Sussex Hi All, Can anyone recommend a good company that can O2 clean bottles and (later) provide test services in the West Sussex/Hants area? Life Support (latterly Summit Oxygen) in Storrington seems to have disappeared without trace. We tried G-Squared in Burgess Hill; they're setup for aviation testing and don't clean and certify the valves. I've read loads here about doing it yourself, however you still need that darned sticker so you can get a fill! Any info would be appreciated. Cheers, Pete |

I have used Solent Divers there a few times in the past.... were always very helpful. Also offerred deals for bulk tests away from the pre-easter mad house. If not they should send them onto a third party for you, and you don't get more West Sussex/Hants than them. On another note, did you sort out your Inspiration mouthpiece for the Panorama? Cheers, Dave Cooper.

You will need to take everything off your cylinder before it goes to them. Solent Air Services also supply the best neoprene neck seals I've ever found. They also fit wrist and neck seals very cleanly. My Otter Britannic came with a far inferior neoprene neck seal which I've just had replaced by SAS. Charlie |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Bottle O2 cleaning West Sussex Hi Pete The Dive Connection in Portsmouth, use Bob at Angus Diving Services based near Wickham. Cylinders can either be dropped into the shop or taken direct, Bob`s place is a tad out in the sticks though. Cheers Danny

![]() | Re: Bottle O2 cleaning West Sussex Hi All, Firstly, thanks to everyone for the replies and suggestions. Apologies for the delay getting back to this thread. I'll have a ring-around and see who costs what. I know it's probably much of a muchness, but at £25 quid a bottle at Solent, I'd like to know if I can get the job done any cheaper! If not, I'll just have to pay the (HSE!) piper. I did receive a PM to say that the Storrington place was still open. I went over there earlier this week, had a good look around and couldn't find any operation like Life Support/Summit (plenty of building firms and joiners but they declined to clean my bottles!). I've asked for further info, so if I do manage to find it, I'll post up the details. Hi Dave, thanks for the PM. The solution at the mo looks like the Divematics BOV with the P port fitting/adaptor. To be honest, the FFM project is on hold right now as I've just gone over to the Kent Tooling J-box setup and installed a Narked-at-90 4th cell linked to the VR3. I need to do some dives to iron out any kinks in the new bottle config and VR3 setup, before going onto the next stage with FFM. Thanks for the details, they're noted and I expect to pickup the phone again in a couple of months so I can be good to go with the FFM in the summer. Thanks again to all, Cheers, Pete |
