Numbers of different units out there - the Rebreather World view

Ok so I searched on what units members currently own - Whilst this does not give us total units out there it gives us a good idea of the percentages of each unit and one could make some some estimates.

Could everyone double check their control panel and make sure current unit is selected correctly.

So the Numbers are in terms of Volume of Units

1 - Inspiration Classic (1160)
2 - Meg (322)
3 - Evolution (299)
4 - Classic Kiss (213)
5 - Inspiraiton Vision (171)
6 - Sport Kiss (154)
7 - Optima (83)
8 - Prism (74)
9 - Boris (71)

Very interesting - thanks Stuart.

Having kept an eye out for which units people are diving when they post, as a validator on their opinions, I'm surprised at these numbers. I'd have thought there were many more Visions and Megs out there, and many fewer Evos. Maybe there is a correlation between the unit bought and the need to post ;-)

I'd be interested to see posts per unit type.

Interesting.. It looks like over 75% of meg owners, over 50% of optima owners, and almost 80% of boris owners are on rbworld.. impressive..

100 plus Boris out there 400 plus Meg I heard....

Yup the stats are on current rebreathers not previous ones ...

If and it is a big if I agree, the percentages on Rebreather World are indicative of the precentages of RBs out there in the world then there are less visions then everyone suspects.....

The number of boris I was quoted at Boot was 90..

Add classic, vision, and evolution together mutiply by 5 and you may be nearer the actual figure for inspo family sales
