![]() | Convert Dolphin to CCR There is supposed to be a kit from Kiss that will allow you to upgrade the Dolphin to CCR, does anyone know where I can get this? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Kriptap, The part your talking about is available from Jetsam, but the conversion involves a little more than "a single bit". You'll need to source/manufacture other parts and modify some of the Dolphin parts. I dont mean to sound negative, but if you don't know what other work is involved, you'll need to do a lot of research. You'll also need to be handy with tools/get bits made. If your not in the position of being handy in a machine shop and having the requesite knowledge, it would probably make more financial sense (and be less dangerous) to sell the Dolphin, buy a SportKISS ($4000 US+ backplate wing and harness)and do Mod 1(or equiv) on it. Good Luck with whatever you decide to do. HTH Simon A |

There are several threads as well as articles on this website on that subject, and links in the Dräger/Jetsam/Homebuild section. They'll show different optons and sources.

![]() | Dolphin CCR modification I converted my dolphin from scr to ccr originally with some bits from Bob Howell. I then moved on to a Swagelock needle valve with a manual inflator to add extra o2, and finally bought a kiss valve. follow the link. http://www.jetsam.ca/ You will need a filter from swagelock, and some hose ends (not rocket science) I understand that Jetsam now require proof of certification before they will sell any bits, though this is worth checking out. Hope this helps. ps I am now diving an inspiration though I did have some happy times making the things work. |

Jetsam currently do sell KISS valves to homebuilders, it's only if you buy a unit from them you'll need to have a cert.http://www.jetsam.ca/ I understand that Jetsam now require proof of certification before they will sell any bits, though this is worth checking out. (I bought a KISS valve off them recently, it took a while but it wasn't dificult). Simon A |
