Hello Does anyone here have opinions or experience with the supposed Parker equivalent to the Swagelok QC6 type quick connect? The reason why I ask is because they are literally half the price of the Swagelok ones, and they offer everything that the Swagelok offers as far as I can see (i.e., both ends shut off when disconnected, etc) SH2-62 Female Quick connect S/SSH2-63 Male Quick connect S/S rgdsmonty |

Parker claim that they are O2 clean new but I had them re-cleaned anyway. Ali |

They were mostly good, but if plugged in whilst submerged, a small bit of water does get in each time. If this is going to cause problems in your lines, I'd suggest not using them. Cheers, Jason. |

Same goes for Swagelok QCs that I know. Small amount of water will enter...Cheers, Jason. |

I never saw that as a problem. I am happy with mine + I have sucked pretty hard through my BOV at 80m and it seemed ok. (that's as deep as I'll go). I know others have used them deeper with similar results. I also know some people think they are crap. HTH

I never used Parker QC´s on my breathers but the ROV company I work for hate Swagelok connectors and use just Parker on all the sub´s. Cheers, Last edited by mikedive : 26th January 2007 at 00:57.
