Hey guys, i think that if there was a response that would state something like " yes, i can drop some or part of the lead i carry, but with a very hard effort" then i think it would propably earn the most of the votes.![]() Brian What do you think? I meant drop the leads or part of it easily of course, in case of loop floading if one has to take off the breather and unscrew the leads in it it means that it is not droppable. What do you think? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: counter lung lead How about a response that says, "I don't carry any lead" ? HI brian it simply means that your counter lung weigth is the rebreather itself so dropping the weigth is impossible so it measn that you can't do it.![]() Brian ( it could also mean that your boby boyancy in several kilos negative) is it necessary to be able to drop the weigth ? this is another question. I think that yes , but it is just my opinion , I would like to better my breather on this oint and need to know how much weigth is necessary, mabye the solution is elswhere (second wing bladder and bailout wing tank ????....) regards jean mi |

I think what some of the others meant was that they don't carry any extra lead. In fresh water I have 3 kg on the top of my unit for trim and a 3kg torch no lead to drop. I add another 3 kg in the sea but put this in my unit. If I had a unit flood or a suit flood and could not get up with my wing I would use my DSMB or a lift bag to reel my self up.regards jean mi |
