![]() | Rebreather in Stock -- NESS Hi Guys, we ordered the first rebreather for stock. It is a Dive Rite Optima. I figured we would also order a Silent Diving for stock also. I am trying to do a whole rebreather section the store and I need some help. Also, we are looking for part-time help and would love to have a rebreather diver in the store. I appreciate the advice from everyone and was wondering what spare parts we should be stocking? I realize orings of course but what else. Thanks John Scuba diving lessons, scuba diving gear equipment, technical diving gear equipment, oms |

Hey Stuart,Stuart I didn't take this as promoting his store. Per other threads about Rebreather's not being welcome on one of his boats (they are) and his looking for info about stocking things like VR3s it's about coming into the RB fold so to speak. In fact, he's also looking for an Rebreather diver to work part time at the shop and wondering what types of spares RB divers would like to see. I think we should encourage posts like this. The more shops that are RB friendly the better off we all are. --Paul |

That is actually is a great idea. Who has Curts current contact info? The pool opens at the shop in April so anytime after that. Right now I think we are going to bring the Evolution, Optima and I have to contact Kevin Gurr about the Ouroboros. I however am open to suggestions. We are also looking for rebreather instructors. My big thing is that they are knowledgable, safe and with a GREAT Attitude. I am looking for instructors that are firm but not your typical guy that is going to yell at a knew student or get ignorant with the student over what the instructor considers a stupid question. |
