| Azimuth, fitted with Halcyon back plate and wing and weight system and ADV fitted. Also extensivelty reconfigered regarding SPG location and dosing block location and hoses. ADV is a oxycheq inspo one with new fittings manufactured and the tee piece removed and blanked off. Currently getting closed via kiss method and range of other mods, smaller new tanks, OC DSV, kiss valve and various nice bits to round it out. Matty |

| hi all currently on OC (twin tinnies) but hoping to be able to afford an YBOD one day ...as Finless says: *dreaming expresion on face switch on*"One day my box will come"*dreaming expresion on face switch off* on account that the Mr has one, inevitably i've learned quite a bit about them and generally CCR diving.

| Hi From An Ex-ybod Diver... Hi, I'm Rob from the Great Republic of Tejas! I used to dive the YBOD, but as you (used to be able to see--changed my avatar--pic of new case in gallery section) can see it is no longer "Y"! (BBOD anyone?) The case is a custom fiberglass unit (picture courtesy of Stefan Besier) with the exact shape of the factory box, but extended in length to hold seven-liter cylinders. There are mounting points for two OTS through-water transponders, and the com box goes in the bottom of the case. On the very bottom is a TygerGear bracket to hold an argon bottle. I am installing an M&J ten port gas manifold, with whips for two off-board cylinders and a connection to an M&J gas switch-block. One port feeds the Divematics USA DSV attached to the Widolf DR-600 mask. I have split the counter-lungs, and mounted everything on a Deep Sea Supply Kydex back-plate, and a really super harness from the same company. (Most comfortable harness I have ever had the pleasure of diving!) We know that tech divers have to modify literally EVERYTHING. (Unless you belong to the Amish Diving Society, and then you can modify absolutely NOTHING without the express permission of GI3---God re-Incarnated for the 3rd time)! We Rebreather divers are the absolute worst when it comes to that, however, because most of us hardly have the "box" out of the box before we start to modify our rigs. Ain't it GRAND???? ![]() Cheers! Rob

| I am diving an Inspiration. I am currently planning on doing some mods to it. Some of them include a customer 85lb bladder designed by DiveTek for our shops. I want to put a customer divers harness on with a stainless back plate. Also, one of our shop owners has designed a case made of carbon fiber for the canister. The cylinders then mount on to the case cia G-snaps, thus eliminating the large plastic case and reducing the overall size and weight of the unit. Also, once you make this change, you would be able to use other size cylinders, including aluminum 19's which would make the unit lighter for traveling with.
