Digs.

I currently dive open circuit!
but Sitting in my project pile I have a set of brand new inspiration lungs(my credit card's still bleeding), a ray dsv, assorted scrubber bits and an order for a KISS valve. Once the Kiss valve arrives, and I can sort out some PPO2 monitoring, I should have a Rebreather that's ready for testing.

My rebreather

I dive an Inspiration. I just got it in November and I was trained by Charlie Johnson from ANDI. Great unit. I am looking to do some mods, probably going to change harnesses and bladders.

Hi all,

I too dive an Inspo: (no. 3 you know) not that you'd know it to look at it, its a bit like Triggers brush from Only Fools and Horses... you know... 21 different heads and 16 different handles

Mods, or rather not modified;... the plumbing, 1st stages (which will soon go as they're shite - Seamann Sub-'standard', gas bar and oh yeah and the weight pocket...

So does that qualify it as a home build..?? Oh no, sorry I forget, I need shares in swagelock, a Gold Card at the local Plumbers Merchants and big 'ol brass ones to dive it

I'm (err) Duncan and I dive a homebuilt sidemount rebreather (aka the "D5"). I've built 4 of these jobbies, two are in the UK and another two are in the US. I've had dives on a KISS in the pool and took an Inspiration for my first dive on it in a cave in Florida in 2003 - also used various other homebuilt rebreathers in overhead environments along the way.

howdy all

I used to dive a CCR Dolphin, but all the other reindeer called me names and wouldnt let me play any deep diving games, so now i have a meg and no one can tell me what to do any more. hahaha
also KISS cert, instructor too, call me if you need to get up to speed on either KISS unit.

Love my MEG!!!
thanks Stuart for putting this forum together, nice work mate, see you in March!!
