And why do the cylinders have an Inspiration specific pillar valve? ![]() Allows for a cleaner location of the regs, plus the valves us a finer thread and have better on/off controll especially for the Oxygen.. Typical valves like those manufactured by thermo turn on quite fast and are not ideal for o2. With a slight modification to the case (enlarging the opening the vales come out) using a set of left/right handed valves like those used on twins does work.. For optimal traveling you really have to break the rig down (and put alot in your carry on).. I have traveled all over the world and have never paid any excess when I was only carrying my own equipment..
