I'm surprised that this isn't a common practice.Cheers, I analyze mark date and initial all of my gas when I mix it. All of my bottles have permanent MOD markings on them. Then, if they have been out of my direct control ( ie in a dive shop or if anyone else had access to it or if it has been in storage - read my garage) - I analyze it again.Stuart Another thing I do is analyze my bail out everytime I take it. Since you don't use it you could have the same bottle of gas for years. Too easy to have something get mixed up. Only takes a second and almost *every* tech fatality I know of is some how related to the wrong gas at depth. |
