Re: OMS Dry Suit Gloves Hi Philippe, Yup, correct. Squeeze??? no squeeze there, remember these are VERY flexible, even when it squeezes, it's like wearing surgery gloves a bit tight for you. Well, in fact when I put them on, I pull the seal a little and blow in the glove. That gives a little ring of air around the wrist (like in a balloon), descend and it'll disappear. I dived down to 60m like that, no problem, no squeeze. That's the good thing: no need for a straw or a bit of cave line or anything else between the glove and the suit seal. So even if the glove punctures, your suit is good.I am assuming you just pull bottom of glove over wrist seal and latex to latex will make the seal? How do you stop a squeeze? Best Philippe

It is easily removable if the gloves got punctures.Blowing a little air on surface is good if not going deep, otherwise, you will see squeeze.

Re: OMS Dry Suit Gloves They are a DRY glove.. I assume you mean that dry gloves that are ON the suit (ie on rings) are easier? at any rate do you know how to put on the OMS DRY gloves... ie the inner rubber sleeve goes on TOP of the dry suit sleeve? I figured when he said "ie the inner rubber sleeve goes on TOP of the dry suit sleeve?" He was talking about the Neoprene model. Do the Heavy latex models have 2 like the OMS DRY Neoprene's?thanks

Re: OMS Dry Suit Gloves I was referring to the ULTRA Dry Glove which has an inner rubber seal and a neopre gauntlet.. and neoprene glove with Kevlar Palm That's the one I tried then. They are really tough gloves. But bind movement and long gauntlets. Here is OMS's description THE ULTIMATE DRY SUIT GLOVE ™ Unlike equalized Dry Gloves that can develop uncomfortable leaks that can travel up your arm the OMS® Ultimate Dry Glove can accept a small amount of predive hot water to maintain the hands warmth with its’ unique 5mm wrist seal. This seal and your dry suit wrist seal is protected by a separate 5mm zippered gauntlet. The 5mm coated Kevlar palm is extremely abrasion resistant.

Re: OMS Dry Suit Gloves Alternatively: Get a pair of cheap dish washing gloves. They must be a reasonably tight fit on the wrist. Stick a pair of thin undergoves on, pop the rubber gloves on top and don your drysut as normal. Then finish off with a thin pair of neoprene summer gloves as puncture protection. Gloves you can get for 50p if you look hard enough. And you end up with: ![]() The trick is to ensure the rubber glove and underglove form a nice smooth surface that your wrist seal sits on. Any wrinkles and the water will channel down. If you puncture your glove, pinch it and pull the underglove out from the rubber glove and this stops the water getting through the suit seal.
