| Re: POLL: How many Spec. Warf. Rats are in the RBW Forum I don't know about in the US but here in the UK every 2nd diver (generally the ones who have no buoyancy control, 30lpm RMV's and can't put on their fins unassisted) lays claim to having been in an elite regiment at some point or other. Going by the claims, the SAS and SBS must be the biggest regiments in the GB services and entry requirements must be talking shite and being a fat bastard from the amount of divers over here who say they were members. If it isn't that then the other is being ex-commercial. "I gave it up though" types. What? Working in Kwik Fit pays better? Yeah right... |

I sneak up on red wine. Well, in a style about as sneaky as an inebriated mammoth.

Every other roustabout, roughneck or service hand claimed the same heritage. But odd really.. none ever seemed to know each other!! However, the one guy who I happened to know actually had that background was quiet, reserved and never mentioned it.... S Last edited by UKSteve : 15th December 2006 at 14:25. Well it could be quite interesting, to see how divers with milatry diving backgrounds differed from the rest of us. ie if it made any difference to how they dived/ what they dived or the training they've done. Can only worry what the next poll is about. Give it 3 or 4 more polls and RBW will turn into YD. Denz. But then given that the truth is unlikely for a number of reasons ie people blagging and of course the real deal not wanting to talk about it.
