Sanitary towels

That got your attention.

I have been told of some people locally using sanitary towels in the bottom of their scrubbers to soak up the excess moisture. They also put something round the head to soak some of the condensation up, can't remember what they used, it may have been cut up ST's.

Has anyone on here tried this, or something similar?

that sounds like the KISS boys, the inspo doesn't really need it. i've played with various options but it makes little difference.

Doesn't the piece of string make a bad seal?

Re: Sanitary towels

I am currently doing my Prism course and Luke (LukeN on the forum) recommended a chamois cut to shape. Don't know about the YBOD for sure. Hope it helps.

I realise some of you are waiting forme to chime in with a smutty comment, but quite frankly soaking up moisture in scrubbers is a bad idea and chafing may result. Scrubbers need moisture to do the work God designed them to do.

ST's don't have string, thats a tampon. I suppose they would work too, trouble is they expand quite a bit, might increase the WOB.

Re: Sanitary towels

Tampons make very useful water traps and do not interfere with the operation of the KISS scrubber. Rick Stanton got the idea from me and my P1SS but stupidly went out and bought some applicator ones rather than the non applicator ones that I'd stolen from my s/o.

P.S. sanitary towels make very good emergency bandages especially when your s/o's six year old slices her foot open in the street. I just rumaged through her mother's hand bag and found a useful pad to stem the bleeding.
