Sort of ex-services - 10 years in the Reserves. I guess that explains why I liked the challenge of changing over to Rebreather. Cheers,

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Who the hell dives rebreathers? I suppose my club friends would say I am a techie. Degree in physics, computer science and a little astronomy. Only ever worked as a software developer of various types, mainly databases these days for the sat comms business (this sounds like a cv). My father is an engineer so I am quite happy stripping things to fettle/alter/mend/break them. I only wish I had space/time/money for a proper workshop. Peter PS I own a KISS and I've been diving for 20 years (started young)

![]() | Re: Who the hell dives rebreathers? I'm a systems engineer/configuration manager / dogs body. My current job pays very well, and generally consists of reading books all day and browsing forums, whilst my boss praises me for the work Im doing. I'm not sure how I've got into this role. but I'm looking for another job that is a bit more demanding and hence more mentally rewarding. My g/f puts me heavily into the techie geek category. |
