But the clue as to 'bailing out' is it isn't working ![]() If he likes to use his onboard tanks for the rebreather only, what did he ask about the auto air for, is it not not a crude regulator?????? How much bailout gas do you need, as for stops i dont plan on having many when diving the likes of the Thistlegorm on the unit ATB Gareth |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Auto Air v No Auto Air I said I like the idea... Hence posting the post In that case, my advice is to get rid of it, it will play up at some point and there a big old thing that dangle like a bugger. What 'I' did was to add a normal power inflator and cut the hose down so it sits on my shoulder, cut just enough so you can still orally inflate if needs be, then you will know were it is at all times. To me to be able to access all of the gas if needs be out ways the possible failure points of having a reg plumbed in as I also have enough gas to get out of any situation, spare O2 and Dil. |

Personally I always hump around a bailout tank, for me if soemthing goes horribly wrong and pushes my RMV through the roof, or for some muppet who might hit me for gas.... but thats another debate entirely.
