![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: new classic kiss Paul: There are some very good reasons not to replace the steel hoses that are stock with the KISS, but I did it anyway. I removed the manifold, and routed rubber hoses through the counterlung case. This does not allow the counterlungs to fully inflate so I had to go with larger bags. On the Dil side, I run one hose from the first stage directly to the ADV. Using a splitter, I run another from the second stage to the splitter then to the BOV and to my wings. I run the drysuit with a small offboard tank. On the O2 side, I run a second stage up through the counterlung case and wear it on a necklace so I have access to O2 on open circuit should I lose the loop. (extra bailout O2) You should probably consider diving the unit stock for a while before making any modifications. Good luck with the unit. Peter |

| Classic Kiss 124 Current Rebreather/s: | Re: new classic kiss I dove mine stock for 2 years before I started doing things to it. I really did not like how long the MAV lines were. I shortened them up so it sits just above the right shoulder d-ring. Replaced the readouts with shearwater computer and will be instaling a HUD for next season. Remove the dil bar and replace with a Y splitter. Again for next season. Routed all my guages so they sit right on top of my shoulders, out of the way but can still pull them to the side and see them clearly. The harness is pretty much, dare I say, DIR. hope this helps |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: new classic kiss Just finalising details with Jetsam for delivery of Kiss Classic For inflator hoses, I've used 90degree swivels, putting suit inflation on the front port of the manifold, and wing inflation on the front outboard port. Starting to think about Riging unit to wing/ Hose routing/etc I have Custom Divers TDB Wing and Back Plate which i intend to use How are you guys routing dill/o2 gauges/wing+dry suit inflator hoses? I have Narked at 90 Stand and intend to use separate cyl for inflation mounted at bottom of unit Look forward to any input Cheers You'll love the stand, I do. Gauges... the bane of my life, apart from dive computers, that it. I have a hose soming over my shoulder for dil and a button gauge for O2. I'm using around 50-55 bar of O2 per hour's diving, so I have a good idea what I should have, and can ask someone else to lok at my bum if I'm getting ansy about my O2 supply. Having just added G-clamps for my cylinders, I now have to reroute everything. (It's a long long story, so don't ask. Your boss will notice you reading the sad tale, and give you grief!) Safe to say, my dil gauge may be running on another 90degree swivel if I can find one... it only took 2 days of drilling, swearing cursing, and leaving my displays on (again! ) to get it right. That includes beer breaks, which leads me to say, it was bloody good fun, all up. ![]()
