Hi there,

New to the forum and this thread caught my eye. I personally know a dozen or so people out here that dive solo on single 80s to 60m and ride the deco profile of their computer with little or no thought to reserve. Many of them have been doing this sort of thing for decades. Perhaps it's the 40m vis or the 74 degree water at 60m that lulls them into a sense of security. In any case, my point to all this is none of them openly admit it. It is truly the dirty little secret in this part of the world. Alpinist in the ashamed quiet sense of the word.
