![]() | Re: Scr Hi I got a Dolphin earlier this year and i love diving on it even though Im still getting used to it. I call it my 'Tonka Toy' because of the chunky connections. ![]() Doubt I'll go CCR, but as they say 'never say never'. Dont recommend the PADI course though. Unfortunately I couldnt find a BSAC course near enough. cheers sharon |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Scr I've got only 40 or so dives on the dolphin since i got it back in march. Some guys i'm stationed with that use LARV LAR16 tell me they'd stick with the LAR V cause of simplicity, they said the 16 will have alot of probs, cause water/press & electronix don't go well together. Since some of these guys have rebreather dives in the triple digits, I take what they say pretty deeply. I would love to convert to CCR BUT....want to get more educated, and I'm seeing that for now, SCR is a bit safer. Also some Rebreather types are goi9ng back to OC due to convienence, easy to just go.... Keep the input coming. SCR DIVER UNITE!!!!! |

![]() | Re: Scr I am diving an atlantis with no problems, after I modified it to accept a backplate and wings, except that the oxy 2 crapped out which should not come as a real suprise to anyone. Awaiting a Munro O2 sensor set up from Tauchen - Cave, Nitrox, Rebreather Ausbildung, Tec Ausrüstung, Reisen. May convert to CCR some time in the future but not right now. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Scr Hello, I started diving the Azimuth this year. It has definately been fun learning about it and all the other models out there. Rebreather World has certainly been a HUGE help as I learn all the details and physics. I can't think of a better source. My current project is to convert the Azimuth to the AF configuration (separate gas blocks for each tank) and fly it in a hybrid mode I've been refining operationally. Technically it will be an SCR flying in a NITROX KISS/Azimuth hybrid mode. Hopefully the first dives in the hybrid mode will be mid October. After considering everything I think this will be operationally more flexiable, easier, and safer. Time will tell. --Paul |
