Re: oxygauge growth

Looks like it's leaking and eating away on the contacts. Does the cell becom 'wet' when not in use. If so I would just replace it as it'll not only eat away on itself but also on your oxyguage.

Re: oxygauge growth

I had this two. It was on a Brand new sensor and it never worked correstly so I didnt dive it. I tried to clean it and it didnt work. You can attempt to clean it but a better bet is to chuck that sensor and get a new one.

Re: oxygauge growth

I had the same issue on a really old sensor.

Same blue stuff on the sensor. I clean it a bit with a tissue but the sensor was dead after i tested.

Re: oxygauge growth

Still using it... but flooded my 2001 version... got a newer 2005 version off eBay actually has several case design improvements.

Back to your original question: the sensor is leaking ... need to replace it... I had the same thing happen to my orginal oxyguage sensor when I received it pseudo-new. You can get one from Oxycheq... my replacement arrived quick and worked great.
