Re: Have you looked at your fins today?

After years of using the Jets, and mainly due to weigth restrictions when I travel, I've tryed the Six Gills from deepoutdoors and now use them in all dives.
Same performance as the Jets, but much lighter

Re: Have you looked at your fins today?

I love that they help me when I need very fine movements, like kicking a little bit backwards because of the courrent while having a look at something, or that they help me to carry my Optima with S/S 27ft3 tanks and two stages. But i have a lot of probs keeping my feet up when I am not diving with my 5MM or greater. Do the OMS fins do the same?
Thanks.

Re: Have you looked at your fins today?

I was a die hard Jet fin user untill I tried a Scubapro seaquest gorrilia fin. Weighs nothing and a HUGE power difference

Re: Have you looked at your fins today?

I like long-bladded free diving fins,

Think about this: Over a given distance, all other things being equal, who will have to kick more? A diver with short "scuba" fins or a diver with long "free diving" fins?

You can also buy them with spring straps installed by the manufacturer.
