Cis Lunar service in Sweden from now on?

Hi!
Do anyone of you guys know if it will be possible to service the "old" Cis Lunar MK5 in Sweden from now on when the rights have been bought by a Swedish company? (Ihave asked them but no reply yet)
One huge reason for me not beeing interested before was the service intervals and having to send it all the way to the US for maintainance adding to the already expensive nature of the matter.

Re: Cis Lunar service in Sweden from now on?

Hi Rodge,

We are still the worldwide authorized Service Center for the Cis Lunar Mark 5P.

We have the entire inventory of spare parts in our facility.

Shipping the unit to us isn't that expensive coming our way, but going back to you can be somewhat costly. We've worked out special rates with both FedEx and UPS to accomodate divers.

Further, of all the people still associated with Cis Lunar, we have the most experience repairing them, as well as all the necessary tools and jigs.

I know the Cis Lunar repair biz has slowed in the last few years, but the machines out there are still going strong, and we remain committed to helping Mark 5P users keep their machines running smoothly for years to come.

Take care,

Re: Cis Lunar service in Sweden from now on?

Thank you for a very fast and informative answer
I does sting to send it from eg.Sweden to have it serviced.
I know that you guys are the one to talk to in this matter but I was hoping to be able to get around the transportation issue...
Do you have any idea what the future holds for the Cis Lunar? Will here be a MK6?

Best regards
Roger Ingebo

Hey Rodge,

Dr. Stone would be the person best suited (and allowed) to answer that - but rest assured that whatever goes on, we will be there to help Cis Lunar customers, wherever they may be, or whatever machine they may be diving...

Re: Cis Lunar service in Sweden from now on?

Please forgive my hazy memory but didn't the Cis get sold to some guys (posiedon?) from Northern Europe? I must be thinking of something else, but what is it?

My take on it is: the guys who purchased Poseidon also purchased Cis.
